How to Join Warwick Sport and Sports Clubs

If you HAVE NOT been a member of Warwick Sport before you need to sign in with your university log in. Your user name with be assigned by IT Services.
Log in and click on the "join" link . You can then join Warwick Sport, the fitness suite, and as many sports clubs as you wish by going to the page of whichever sports club you want to join and clicking "join online." Please note to join sports clubs you first have to join Warwick Sport.
Alternatively you can join by going to the Sports Centre or at the Sports Fair on the first Tuesday of the first term. The sports club executive members will then contact you to let you know when their first sessions and socials are.

What is Warwick Sport?
The Department of Physical Education and Sport and the Students' Union have joined forces so that all University members will benefit from a more cohesive, cost-effective and user-friendly approach to sport.
The key idea behind the collaboration is to increase opportunities for every University member to engage in sport at whatever level suits them.

Membership of Warwick Sport is a flat annual rate. Members can then benefit from a significantly enhanced range of classes, treatment, training and club memberships taking advantage of services provided by the Students' Union, and the Department of Physical Education and Sport.
University members who elect not to join Warwick Sport can still have unlimited access to Sports Centre facilities (excluding premium facilities) by buying 'pay and play' day passes. More than 20 'pay and play' visits a year will lead to an automatic upgrade to full Warwick Sport membership for that year. However, you cannot join any sports clubs without joining Warwick Sport.

Unlimited access to all facilities except the premium facilities (Running Bear Fitness Suite, Performance Weights Room, Bear Rock Indoor Climbing Centre, Sauna and the Indoor Tennis Centre)

Most of the money accrued from Warwick Sport membership charges will be ring-fenced to improve sporting opportunities for University members. This income supplements the funding from the University and helps to kick-start long-term development.
