The University of Warwick Athletics and Cross-Country Club caters for a wide variety of athletes. We have a number of training sessions per week covering - but not limited to - distance work, intervals, track sessions, circuits, abdominal and core sessions, shorter road runs, jogging sessions and tempo sessions. We welcome anyone and everyone to the club, so whether you run on the track or on road, jump or throw, are experienced or are a beginner, or even if you only want to join on a social level, we welcome you with a baton in one hand a pint in the other. Whilst we take our training seriously, our main aim as a club is simply for everyone to enjoy themselves!
The annual Sports Fair is on Tuesday 1st October (Week 1) between 10:30am and 5:30pm. Make sure you come and see us to sign up! Click here for more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/553457531369305/?fref=ts
We participate in a large number of events, locally and nationally, including the BUCS championships, the Birmingham League 1st Division (for men), and Midlands League (for women) and local track and field open meetings. Currently we also host our own cross-country relay event and a Varsity athletics match against Coventry University.
