The Warwick Basketball Club is for players of all shapes, sizes and standard, providing every member opportunities to learn and develop. For the more casual player the Club runs weekly 'open' sessions where all members of the Club can play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Additionally there are basketball development sessions in which all members are coached by team players in a peer-led environment. The Club also organizes an annual 3-on-3 competition (Swish), which was highly successful last year and is an opportunity for all players to compete. Off the court the Club enjoys a healthy social scene, events and socials provide focal points where members can meet and get to know each other.

These are the times and venues for the training sessions for the season (Terms 1 and 2):

Wednesday - Competitions

Women's 1st Team:

Monday, 19.30-21.30, Desso Hall

Tuesday, 19h30-21h30 (every other week), Main Hall

OPEN SESSIONS

There are also free sessions for everybody to come and play. This is the opportunity to show yourself and make it to the teams or just to have some fun! All abilities welcome. New Term 3 schedule:

TEAMS

For the more competitive basketballers we run two teams, one women's and one men's. The Men's 1st and Women's teams both play in the BUCS Championships, with games every Wednesday during the season. All BUCS games are against other British university teams, who are separated into regional leagues, at the end off the season there are nationwide play-offs for the regional league winners.
