Welcome to the Warwick Devils Cheerleading Squad. We practice dance and cheer, incorporating gymnastics and stunting into our routines and performances.

The Warwick Devils not only provide a strong friendship group to enhance your university experience, but with our vibrant energy create a fun, focused and dynamic sports club.

 INFO 2010-2011:

Taster Session

Our first Taster session will be on Sunday 10th October (end of the first week) at Westwood games hall. This is a free open session for anyone who wants to come and give the sport a try. It will include stunt and dance (for the girls only).

Our second taster session, our BRING A BOY session, will be on Sunday 17th at Westwood games hall. Once again it is open to anyone, last year we had over 50 guys including the American Football team so boys don't worry about being the only male! It will be mainly stunting!

These are both 3.30 to 5.30pm in Westwood Games hall, wear comfotable clothes you can stunt in, no jeans or jewellery!!

We have our first Pom dance taster session on Monday 11th October in the dance studio in the main sports hall at 6.30pm-8. A dance background is an advantage but not compulsory, it will be completely different from any dance you've done before!

Dance - 6.30-8.00pm in the aerobics studio in main sports centre

CCS (cheers, chants and stunting) : open to everyone 3.30-5pm

Large Stunt Squad : 5-7.30pm

WE WILL ALSO BE RUNNING GYMNASTICS SESSIONS, SOME AT WOODLANDS GYMNASTIUM (sprung floor!) BUT THE DETAILS ARE YET TO BE CONFIRMED

We would love to hear from as many sports teams as possible! At the start of the year an email will be sent out to as many sports teams as we can, letting you know we can cheer for you if you tell us in advance! Every one is welcome to come to our 1st Social at Pop. cirlce starts at 7pm sharp so get there well ahead of time to avoid the drinks rush. I would advise pre booking your ticket on the SU website as it's going to be a busy one.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the new fresh to meet the oldies and vica versa.

INFO 2009-2010:

We had 2 squads go to the UKCA National Championships 2010: Co-Ed Large Stunt and Pom Dance. Congratulations to all those who competed!

The Pom-Dance Squad received 1st place

The Co-Ed Large Stunt Squad received 1st place

We also had our small stunt team compete at the BCA University Championships 2010 and achieve 2nd place in a competitive catagory.

A fantastic achievement, well done girls and guys, and thanks to everyone who has participated in training, matches, socials and performances this year!
