Jitsu Risk Assessment
Jitsu is a practical and effective form of self-defence. It improves confidence, balance and co-ordination and is lots of fun!
You learn to defend yourself from a range of attacks, including punches, kicks, strangles, grabs and weapons using throws, joint locks and strikes. It is suitable for any age or gender and you don't have to be particularly fit or strong.
Training is fun and friendly and no previous experience is expected. We are a small sociable club and spend a lot of our time in the pub after training as well as organising nights out and national competitions and events.
Our training times this year are Wednesday 5-7pm and Friday 5-7pm both at the Westwood Sports Hall. Beginners are always welcome, just bring some loose clothing to wear and a few pennies to join us the pub afterwards.
