Jitsu Risk Assessment
Jitsu is a practical and effective form of self-defence. It improves confidence, balance and co-ordination, as well as being great fun!
You learn to defend yourself from a range of attacks, including punches, kicks, strangles, grabs and weapons using throws, joint locks and strikes. It is suitable for any age or gender and you don't have to be fit or strong, although these things improve with training.
Training is fun and friendly and no previous experience is expected. We are a small sociable club and spend a lot of our time in the pub after training as well as organising nights out and national competitions and events.
Our training times this for term 3 are Wednesday 5-6:30pm and Friday 6:30-8pm in the Activity room in the main sports building. Beginners are always welcome.
