Jitsu Code of Conduct
Jitsu Risk Assessment
Jitsu is a practical and effective form of self-defence, which improves confidence, balance and co-ordination, as well as being great fun! You will learn to defend yourself from a wide range of attacks, including punches, kicks, strangles, grabs and weapons, using throws; joint locks and strikes. Jitsu is suitable for any age or gender and you don't have to be fit or strong to start, these naturally improve with training.
Training is fun and friendly and no previous experience is expected. We are a small sociable club and spend a lot of our time in the pub after training as well as organising nights out and national competitions and events.
Our training times for the academic year 2013-14 are Mondays 5-6:30 and Fridays 5-7, both held in the Westwood Games Hall. Beginners are always welcome and we have a free taster session Saturday 5th October 12-2pm at Westwood. Alternatively, just come along to any of our regular sessions, the first two of which are free to try at any point in the year.
