Pick & Mix Sports is a FREE* club which aims to make sport more accessible to everyone. It’s FREE to join and FREE to come to, as long as you have a Warwick Sports membership.

Each week we try a different sport on a fun and basic level in a friendly environment, with coaching from the sports societies here at Warwick. If you want to play a sport without the intense training, try something new or simply want to try as many sports as possible because you're just that amazing, then then Pick & Mix is for you! Every activity is on a non-competitive level and gives you a taste of each sport.

Last year we ran successful sessions in Floorball, Badminton, Mixed Netball, Trampolining, Canoe, Basketball, Aerobics, Kempo Jujitsu, Kali-Jeet Kune Do, Roller Hockey, Rifle Shooting, Archery, Climbing and Lacrosse. Previous years have also tried Hockey, Latin + Ballroom Dancing, Thai Boxing, Judo, Dodgeball, Cheerleading, Table Tennis, Breakdancing, Cricket & Rounders, Volleyball, 5-a-side Football and Handball.

We also held great socials - Ice Skating, Quasar, Paintballing and Kasbah.

Session Details

Our sessions usually run from 3.30 - 5.30 every Friday in the main Sports Centre in the Desso Hall, and we send out emails every week to confirm times and places and inform you of any changes to the schedule. You can also check out our Facebook group (address above!) for regular updates. Alternatively, you can look at the schedule on this website on the sidebar to the left.

Socials

We hold regular socials that are a great chance to meet people in the club and get more involved! Even if you're unable to attend the sessions, we'd love to boogie with you! Our past socials include: Paintballing, Go-Karting extravaganza, Laser Quest, Curry Night and Circling. All members of the club and friends are welcome! This year, we plan to hold another paintballing social amongst other things, and start the first Pick and Mix Tour. It will be epic.
