Tennis
Warwick Tennis Club is one of the most exciting sports clubs at Warwick. The Tennis Club offers opportunities for players of all levels to get more involved with the game. We offer three levels of coaching classes throughout the first two terms with an LTA qualified coach. Social play runs throughout the year, giving a chance to play with others of a similar standard and to meet new people. We also offer a wide range of facilities including 4 indoor acryllic hard courts, 4 outdoor clay courts, and 3 outside tarmac courts.
For those capable of more competitive play we endeavour to provide regular opportunities to play for the university, through five BUCS teams (three men’s and two women’s).
A variety of social events run throughout the year, from our weekly circle in the union every Wednesday to off-campus meal socials. Also we run ladders and tournaments and organise a tour each Easter, which is filled with sun, sea, and plenty of tennis abroad. Finally time (and weather!) permitting we will organise a trip to Wimbledon at the end of the year.
