We at the Weight Training Club aim to help people take full advantage of the weights available at the University to improve fitness, strength and sporting skills. Weight training is a very useful tool in the support of other sporting activities and is a respectable sport in its own right. By providing discounts on a plethora of supplements, bringing in sports professionals to give help and advice and introducing a nationally recognised grading system, we hope to make theweight training club as accessible as possible to people across the board. Everyone is very friendly and there is a good light-hearted spirit within the Club.

I've created a new training scheduler. Please sign in with your name and some description of what would you like to do in the gym (beginner, power lifting, cardio, etc.) and tick times you can go for trainings.
When more people signs in - we'll be able to match you up - to find you a spotter/training partner if you need one or someone to coach you if you're a beginner.

Everyone is welcome - beginners, intermediates and advanced weight trainers - if you're looking of an advice, help with starting training or a new training buddy - JOIN!
We provide club safety equipment such as a belt, barbell pad and wrist grips, essential for safe training, as well as years of cumulative experience to help you train effectively. Training is open to anyone regardless of strength, size or sex and is ideal for anyone ranging from total begginners to experts.
