Science of Patanjali
Dr Harish Chandra presents his introduction to the Science of Patanjali yoga meditation:
Patanjali defines Yoga as 'calming down the mind functions' which enables one better mind control and relaxation. A relaxed mind will be at peace and away from stress. Not only can itkeep you away from stress forever, it can even de-stress you if you happen to carry stress from the past. The Taster Session will give some basics of Patanjali's scientific approach.
This event is only £1 for students and £3 for staff

4-week Science of Yoga: Patanjali Meditation (Basic Module) course
Monday evenings from 5.30-7pm in weeks 6, 7, 8 and 9 in Term 2, 2012
This is a great opportunity to explore the cosmic connection of energy between you and the world by looking at the holistic picture between science, harmony and nature.
Patanjali Meditation is a fantastic form of meditation if you are looking for stress-free living, a peaceful and relaxed mind, clear thoughts, blissful soul, and general health and wellness of the body.
The well designed, four week intensive course is crafted and delivered by Harish Chandra - an eminent scholar of ancient Vedic philosophy, who also has a PhD in combustion sciences from Princeton University, USA.
Cost: £4 per session (£5 staff)
