WHICH VEHICLE & HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? 

Warwick Sport has three main sources of vehicle hire for your club:
 
 

1. Warwick Sport Target Contracted Vehicles
2. Budget Rent-a-Car Short Term Vehicle Hire
3. University Transport (Porters & Estates) Vehicle Hire

Warwick Sport will endeavour to get the cheapest possible transport for your club, but this is always dependent on availability. Always think about how many miles you are travelling and over what time period – you can then work out which transport source will be cheaper and can request that source as a first preference.

WARWICK SPORT VEHICLES  

Warwick Sport has access to four 17 seat minibuses and one van. The vehicles are on long term loan from Target vehicle hire and are based at the Sports Centre in Car Park 8A in designated car park spots. The vehicles are booked on a first come, first serve basis. These vehicles will run on a quarter tank of fuel and are expected to be returned in that state. Fuel is an addition to the daily charge so you will have to pay for this as a club.  Warwick Sport also has access to it own university owned 7 seat people carrier. This again will be based at the Sports Centre in Car Park 8A. Fuel is again an addition to the daily charge you must pay for as club.

BUDGET RENT-A-CAR VEHICLE HIRE  

Warwick Sport also has access to further vehicles which can be hired externally from Budget Rent-a-Car on short term loan. Also, these vehicles will run on a full tank of fuel and are expected to be returned in that state by Budget. These will be delivered to the Sports Centre Car Park 8A usually on the day of departure by a Budget driver.

UNIVERSITY TRANSPORT (PORTERS & ESTATES) VEHICLE HIRE 

University of Warwick Ancillary Services has a fleet of vehicles which serve the entire University community. Their fleet consists of seven 17seat minibuses, two vans and one 7seat people carrier. These vehicles are charged at a mileage rate. As a driver you must complete a mileage return and log book.  

PRICES ARE AS FOLLOWS (PRICES INCLUDE VAT): 

Fuel (Porters): If required, the driver is to pay for it and obtain a VAT receipt then reclaim from the Senior Porter, Westwood Portering Services. (You will need to show your Warwick Card) Please ensure the vehicle has ½ tank of fuel on return.
 

Fuel (Estates): If required, the driver is to pay for it and obtain a VAT receipt then reclaim from Graham Hine in the Estates Office. (You will need to show your Warwick Card) Please ensure the vehicle has half a tank of fuel on return.
