TASS is a Government funded programme that represents a unique partnership between sport and higher and further education. TASS bridges the gap in sports talent development pathway between junior representative sport and world-class levels for our most talented 16 to 25 year old sportspeople. It will enable young talented athletes to maintain the right balance between academic life, training and competition by providing scholarships up to the value of £3000 for students.
The programme awards Scholarships to talented athletes that are committed to combining their sport and education. It aims to reduce the drop out of talented athletes from sport and supports and develops the talent of today for sporting success in the future.
There are 48 sports that are eligible for TASS, of which 14 are disability sports.
All TASS Scholars and bursars are mentored throughout the year by Warwick Sport Staff. Advice and support is offered to all athletes and opportunities are available to take part in athlete workshops to help individuals reach their potential.
